Scheduled - We will be undergoing scheduled maintenance during this time, to deploy an in-term mitigation to reduce the known Jupyter notebook “duplication” behaviour. This mitigation change removes JupyterLab Real-Time Collaboration (RTC / “Collaboration”) from Noteable notebook server images.

Noteable will be at risk during this window while notebook images are refreshed. Users may briefly be unable to start new sessions, or may need to restart sessions to pick up the updated image.

Note: Removing RTC/Collaboration also removes Jupyter’s auto-save behaviour in this context. Please save work explicitly using the Save icon (top-left of the notebook area). Users will also be prompted to save when closing a notebook.
